Hi! My name is Zahra! I reside in San Francisco with my husband, but I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY. I am the creator of all the recipes here on Zesty Zahra.
After creating dishes for a few restaurants in Minneapolis, I decided to start this blog to share my love of food with a wider audience. My two favorite things in the world are cooking and traveling. When not in my kitchen, I spend my time walking around neighborhoods, exploring different countries, and sampling wines.
I am here to share my creative, flavorful, and mostly healthy vegan recipes. Don’t be scared by the word vegan. These recipes will appeal to diverse palettes, vegan and non-vegan alike. Many are nutritious, oil-free, gluten-free, tasty dishes that are great for children, too.
