This amazing peanut sauce recipe makes for a fantastic dip, salad dressing or sauce for rice noodle dishes. It’s incredibly easy to make and has a perfect blend of sweetness, citrus and spice. 

Thai cuisine is one of my favorites to play around with. I never thought peanut butter could turn into something this delicious until I tried it one day at a Thai restaurant; I was instantly inspired and wanted to create my own version as soon as I got home. After various attempts over many years, I finally figured out the perfect portion of each ingredient and have the best peanut sauce recipe to share with you all. Everyone in my family just loves this recipe with pretty much anything! It goes especially well with this Thai salad.

Peanut Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • tbsp Peanuts
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic medium size
  • 1 Dried Red Chili
  • tbsp Sriracha
  • tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp White Vinegar
  • tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 cup Water as needed

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, add peanuts, peanut butter, garlic, dried red chili pepper, sriracha, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and lime juice. Begin blending.
  • Drizzle water while blending until the mixture is smooth. Add more water if you desire a thinner texture.
  • Serve chilled with fresh spring rolls or a Thai salad. Or serve hot with rice noodles.

Notes

If the sauce becomes too thick after refrigeration, add water and whisk to thin it out to the desired consistency.
This peanut sauce goes especially well with my Thai salad.

    Just made this and it is yummy! I plan to make the Thai Salad tonight to go with it. I made a couple changes to the recipe. I did not have soy sauce so uses Liquid Aminos instead. Also, I did not put in the dried red chili as I was concerned it may be too hot for my husband and me. Looking forward to the Thai Salad tonight!
