Quick & Easy Tofu Steaks

These quick & easy tofu steaks are flavorful, packed with plant-based protein, and require only five minutes of prep.

Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz Tofu
  • drizzle Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • sprinkle Salt
  • sprinkle Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Lay tofu brick flat and cut it diagonally twice into 4 pieces.
  • Slice each piece into ¼-inch thick pieces. You will have a total of 16 pieces.
  • Drizzle oil on a baking sheet pan and spread it evenly with a brush.
  • In a small mixing bowl add soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix together well.
  • Place tofu pieces on baking sheet pan and brush them with mixed sauce. Make sure all pieces are completely covered.
  • Bake for 25 minutes. Then flip tofu steaks and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Notes

*Note: Some new ovens have very high intense heat. Check in between and continue to keep an eye on them so they do not burn.
