This zesty garlic couscous only takes 15 minutes! Its combination of citrus and garlic is delicious, and it pairs easily with many dishes.

of one lemon

Turmeric

Couscous*
Garnish
Fresh Parsley or Green Onion

Instructions
Heat a medium size pan over low-medium heat. Add olive oil and garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add lemon zest and sauté for another 30 seconds.
Add water, lemon juice, turmeric, salt and pepper and bring it to boil.
Remove from heat, add couscous and mix well together. Cover with lid and let sit for a few minutes.
Fluff up the couscous by stirring. Add garnish and serve hot.

*Note: Use gluten-free couscous to make this recipe gluten-free.
